How Long Each Erosion Material Lasts
Straw breaks down before most slopes are established. Coir is imported and needs netting. Synthetics never leave. Hemp covers the 2–3 years vegetation needs, then it's gone.
Hemp, straw and coir are 100% biodegradable. Hemp fibre has up to 3× the tensile strength of straw.
